Women's Ministries

"Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men."
Ephesians 7:7 (NIV)

The purpose of the women's ministries at Oconee Church is to promote regular Bible study, foster relationships and encourage one another in faith , prayer and service.  All the activities of the women further these goals.

  • Weekly Bible studies with Biblical resource materials
  • Annual White Elephant exchange
  • Annual kick-off luncheon
  • Annual End-of-Year Meeting luncheon
  • Committees of various services

Every Monday (except when specified) we meet at 9:30 a.m. for prayer and then at 10:00 for Bible study.

In addition, the women facilitate church-wide events under the direction of the church leadership.  These activities are opportunities to get to know each other, build relationships, and enjoy one another.

  • Monthly fellowship potluck lunches
  • Decorate the church for holidays and special events

The women of Oconee Church are also responsible for both the church kitchen and the nursery.
